The Blackport Building is located in the East Hills Business District near the corner of Lake Drive and Diamond Ave. The front of the building is located at 959 Lake Drive SE and is the entrance to the Byrneboehm Gallery & Full Strength. The back side of the building at 141-145 Diamond Ave SE is home to Clothing Matters, Global Infusion & Rock, Paper, Scissors as well as the entrance for Arts in Motion, Mercury Guitar Studio, Haelen Holistic Treatments, Sole Healing, The Mayne Studio, Wholestic Kinisiology & Joyful Sounds. The Blackport Building is the previous Blackport Meat Packaging facility from the 1940's - 60's. Current owners Jerry Meyer and Char Amberger have re-modled the building with the talented help of Heritage Craftsmen to now house an interesting mix of art, dance, music, natural healing & socially responsible retail shops.
